A message from Dr. Menah Pratt-Clarke, FWCA founder:
We recognize the importance of community and for women of color in the academy, especially at this time. Although we cannot gather in person we are in the process of planning a wonderful virtual experience for 2021. We have worked with the national committee to develop what we hope to be a meaningful and impactful two-day experience. On Friday April 9, 2021 we will be hosting the virtual pre-conference writing retreat. Learn more on the Writing Retreat page. On Saturday April 10, 2021 we will all come together for the conference. We hope that may allow many of you to devote the day to self-care, empowerment, and personal and professional development.
